Williamsburg Bridge girder-work on a perfect summer day.
The Williamsburg Bridge carries vehicular traffic and the J,Z, and M trains of the New York City Subway system across the East River, connecting Manhattan's Lower East Side with the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn. There is also a bicycle path and a pedestrian walkway, from which this photo was taken on a June afternoon.
