The magnificent Hell Gate Bridge carries Amtrak's Northeast Corridor tracks over the East River between the New York City borough of Queens and Randall's and Ward's Island, from which they continue on a long viaduct toward the Bronx, on their way to Boston and intermediate points in New England.
