Product Details

Our luxuriously soft blankets are available in two different sizes and feature incredible artwork on the top surface. The bottom surface is white. Our 100% polyester blankets are available in two different styles: plush fleece and sherpa fleece. Plush fleece blankets are soft and fluffy on both sides, whereas sherpa blankets are smooth like a soft sweater on the artwork side (i.e. shorter threads) which provides for a sharper image. Looking for a recommendation? Go with a 60" x 80" plush fleece blanket. It's soft and luxurious on both sides... the artwork looks incredible... and the size is just right for everyone.

From a new series of "Subway-Scapes," these featuring the Q Train at various points along its route, both underground and above....A New York City Subway Q Train of R46-type railcars enters tunnel after departing 96th Street Station, to begin its long journey from Manhattan's Upper East Side to Coney Island, Brooklyn.Its route downtown will take it along the Second Avenue Subway, before jogging west and then running diagonally through midtown on the BMT Broadway Line, crossing the East River on the Manhattan Bridge and covering a large swath of Brooklyn, on its way to Coney Island Stillwell Avenue Station.©2022 Steve Ember

About Steve Ember

Steve Ember

Steve Ember is a Washington-based photographer, writer, and voice actor/narrator. In addition to his signature New York (including many “SubwayScapes” integrating elevated rail lines into views of the urban fabric), Baltimore, and Washington cityscapes, his work also encompasses Alpine landscapes, European, and American motifs, including night scenes, as well as railroad and aviation subjects, and aerial photography. A lifelong photographer, Steve’s work has been honored over many years with selection in numerous juried exhibits at galleries in the greater Washington area.
