Artist's Description

The view on this crisp December night is from a Roosevelt Island Tram car approaching the western end of its journey across the west channel of the East River.

The tall buildings on either side of the bridge tower are 432 Park Ave (left) and the Bloomberg Tower (731 Lexington Ave).

Those three rocket-like traces at upper right are reflections on the cable tower for the tram line, which runs alongside the north side of the bridge.
