Description
A sepia-toned photograph captures an old brick building with a faded restaurant sign that reads "BEER & WINE". A vintage public payphone is also visible, attached to the building's exterior near the entrance.
It's not there anymore, but the Port Truck Stop Restaurant with its old brick façade, “glass-brick” windows, and vintage pay phone was one of many photo-enticing motifs to be seen in this mainly industrial part of Baltimore’s Canton section. This part of Canton flanks the East Channel of Baltimore’s broad harbor, and looks across to Fort McHenry and Tide Point.
The photograph was taken on Kodak T400CN film through the Zeiss Sonnar T* 38mm f/2.8 lens on a Contax T2.
